The College of Fine Arts & Design at The University of Sharjah made a significant impact at the prestigious 19th International Conference on Arts Society, hosted by the esteemed University of Hanyang, founded in 1939 in Seoul, South Korea. I was honored to accept the invitation to present my paper "Bridging Theory and Practice: A Study of Research Methodologies in Visual Communication Education."
The study highlighted case studies of our Visual Communication students' work, showcasing their strong research skills and exemplary understanding of research-led practice. As part of the conference, multidisciplinary projects I supervised were displayed including work by students Farah Barghash, Moza Al Ketbi, and Safaa Abdalla, along side editorial design productions by students Mohammad Jaber, Alya Al Ketbi, and Salma Abouzeid.
The students' work and their approaches to research methodologies have impressed the audience, leaving a lasting impression and greatly enhancing our university's reputation within the international community.
