LETTERS BETWEEN WORLDS
Designing Syriac Spirit into Arabic and Latin Forms
This experimental project reimagines the Syriac script through contemporary Arabic and Latin typography. Inspired by ancient stone-carved inscriptions, the work explores how the visual spirit of Syriac writing can be adapted into modern letterforms without losing its cultural depth. Using a creative and experimental approach, the project blends historical research with typographic exploration. Artificial Intelligence was used to visualize the designs as if they were carved from stone, echoing the material textures of ancient Syriac discoveries.
